Margaret Young

Hello! My name is Maggie Young, I am an Allstate Sales Agent with Allstate in Windsor. I have been a resident of Amherstburg my entire life and I have always worked in Windsor and I am proud to be a part of this whole community. My husband and I are proud parents to our two son’s and our two daughter-in-law’s, 2 dogs, 2 house cats, 2 ducks and many barn cats (strays just love our barn and they just show up and never leave; they are spoiled!).

Before joining Allstate, I had numerous roles at a local plastics factory from machine operator to Union Benefits Representative, I was there for 20 years. At 41 years old I took a leap of faith and started a new career where I was fortunate to have entered the world of Auto Sales and Service. I truly enjoyed serving and providing excellent customer service to the members of our community in my various roles just down the street at an Auto Dealership. I had the pleasure of working with many Insurance Agents and companies on behalf of my clients while working at the dealership and the profession always interested me, so here I am.

I am a graduate of St. Clair College (a couple of times over - I am a lifelong student) and attended General Amherst High School, as did my children. My family had the privilege of spending many years in the Football community with WMFA and the Essex Ravens. I’m a proud Football Momma and Football Fan: I bleed Black and Yellow from my Alma Matta the Amherst Bulldogs to my Pittsburgh Steelers. It’s not always easy to be a Steeler’s fan but it’s all in good fun; I can take the razzing!

I have always had a passion for customer service, meeting new people and lifelong learning. My motto is “Be Kind Always, You Never Know The Battles People are Facing.” You never know when your kindness can change someone’s day. My goal here at Allstate will be to provide you with the best customer service and protection to meet your family’s lifestyle needs.
