I have been working in the Insurance Industry for almost 2 years, and I am very happy to know that this is what I have been wanting to do for my career. I started my learning by taking Office Administration through NSCC. After completion of the program, I accepted a position as a receptionist with a local Insurance brokerage. I found insurance very interesting as there is so much to learn, so I decided to further my education by obtaining my level 1 insurance license.
I have lived in Nova Scotia my entire life - from growing up in Mount Uniacke, to buying my first home in Lower Sackville. On my spare time, I enjoy doing outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, and going out on the ATV. In the summer, I also enjoy playing softball in my hometown. I also enjoy working at our local Tim Hortons on my spare time to meet new people, build connections, and make people happy!
Starting in Insurance, I had no idea what any coverages actually meant - I just knew it was mandatory. I am very happy to be able to provide the knowledge to people about insurance, because I personally know how hard it can be to learn. I want to be the one to make the difference to you by taking time, and helping you understand coverages to the best I possibly can.
